Funkspiel is Bill Walsh and Nick Prior, who blend traditional and digital instruments to make melodic electronica. The results sound like a couple of marmite monkeys trapped in a lampshade groovin' like you don't know what.

Based in Edinburgh, the band has cut a demo CD, done a bunch of soundtrack stuff for film and stage, and is gearing up for a Summer 2006 tour (complete with a nice lady called Hanna Sommerseth doing some singing).

We've recently had some airplay on BBC 6 Music, thanks to the lovely Vic McGlynn.
